1. You may download Images from the site for viewing and/or use in compiling layouts and for client approval. Such compilations may be copied to third parties but must not be used for any finished project.
2. All other reproduction is prohibited except in accordance with a Usage Agreement as described below.

1. Under the terms of the UK’s Copyright, Designs and Patents Acts all images are copyright of Reality Images or individual photographers as credited on the web site pages. Unless specifically agreed, this copyright is non-transferable. Purchasing the license to use an image does not include the re-assignment of copyright.  

1. The terms and conditions set out below provide a baseline for the use of our images. In all cases, we would encourage customers to discuss their needs with our staff to obtain the optimum image license for your requirements.
2. All images displayed on any Reality Images web site may be licensed for editorial use.
3. "Editorial Use" is defined as the use of an image in a context which is newsworthy or in the public interest. This may include factual, educational or historical contexts. Editorial use excludes the use of images for the promotion of products and services (see "commercial use" below). The following terms apply to all editorial usage agreements:
4. You are responsible for determining whether the intended usage of any image is editorial in nature. You agree to indemnify us from any consequences arising from the use of an image licensed for editorial use in a non-editorial context. You are responsible for determining if the intended use requires any additional third party rights or permissions.
5. Unless otherwise stated licenses are issued for the specified use of an image for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. An image purchased for one purpose may not be used for other purposes Unless agreed in advance. In all cases, payment in full is required within 30 days of the invoice/license date or before publication, whichever is the earliest. All licenses are issued for the exclusive use of you the customer or your named client and are non-transferrable. Delivery of the image will be in a format and timescale agreed at the time of purchase. Reality Images will not be responsible for any delays caused by any third party.
6. The customer will take all reasonable measures to protect licensed images from any unauthorized use.
7. Unless otherwise agreed, published images will be credit to the Photographer and Reality Images. Images may not be retained in any storage medium beyond the life time of the license agreement. Images to be used in derivative works must be licensed specifically for that purpose. A "derivative work " includes the use of all or part of the image in another work, such as a collage. Images may not be substantially modified without prior agreement. Non-substantial modifications such as cropping to fit a page are permitted provided such modifications do not alter the subject matter or intent of the original image.
8. Model and Property Releases

          • Reality Images gives no representations or warranties whatsoever with respect to the use of names, trademarks, logos, uniforms etc; registered or copyrighted designs or works of art depicted in the content.

          • You must satisfy yourself that all necessary rights, consent or permission as may be required for reproduction of the images and or content have been secured.

1. "Commercial Use" is defined as the use of an image for the promotion of a product or service with the intent to generate revenue. Not all of our images are available "as is" for commercial use and may require the customer to obtain rights from third parties. Such rights might include model releases, property releases or permission to use trademarks. The customer is responsible for determining and obtaining such third party rights where required. We do hold model and property releases for some images. If a release is required you should enquire before agreeing to purchase.
2. Otherwise, the terms and conditions described under "editorial use" will apply.

1. Images on this site may be purchased for personal use in the form of prints or selected other items. Such items can be purchased via the Print Button service provided by Photobox Limited and is subject to the terms and conditions set out by Photobox in addition to Reality Images terms and conditions as set out below.
2. "Personal Use" is defined as the purchase of an image for a private collection, decorative display or the presentation as a gift. Images obtained via the Photobox Print Button service may not be used for any commercial purpose, nor may such images be published or re-sold in any other format. Copying of images obtained via Photobox by any means is prohibited. Images provided through the Photobox Print Button service are prepared to guidelines set out by Photobox. It is your responsibility to select the correct image, format and, if applicable crop. No refunds will be made for incorrect selections. Refunds or replacements for faulty or damaged goods will be addressed by Photobox.

1. Whilst every care and effort will be taken to supply you with the end product you order, it is an unfortunate fact of life that things can go wrong and with this in mind our maximum liability under all circumstances will be no greater than the amount paid by you to us.

1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction - This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales whose courts are, without exception, the courts of exclusive jurisdiction in all cases.
2. Payment Terms - In all cases, payment in full is required within 30 days of the invoice/license date or before publication, whichever is the earliest.
